It uses your four inputs and the three assumptions below. Where the assumptions do not match your process, the result will not either.

  • Every screened candidate completes the simulation, and your team spends 10 minutes reading each report.
  • Interviews happen only for the 2 shortlisted candidates, and take the per-candidate hours you entered.
  • The hourly interviewer cost is the same for every interview.

What this calculation does not show

  • It does not subtract our own cost; it compares gross interview load only.
  • It does not measure quality of hire, time to productivity or first-year attrition.
  • It does not count the candidate's own time in the simulation as a cost.
